Alpha Word Ministry is established by the power of Ruach Hakodesh continually empowering us with the attributes of the Holy Spirit –the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord.

Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is God. There is only one God, but He manifests Himself as El Adonai the Father, Yeshua the son and RuachHakodesh the Holy Spirit. The Lord calls the Holy Spirit as the Counsellor, Comforter, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener who will remain with us forever (John 14:16).

He was in the beginning and the entire Word of God is Holy Spirit inspired. Every time you read the Word of God the Holy Spirit leads you into a deeper insight of the truth. He leads you into a step by step progression into realizing the true meaning of God’s Word and as Jesus Christ says in John 14:26 He will teach us all things and in John 15:26 He will testify regarding the Lord.

Truly it is impossible to know Christ, to have the absolute fellowship with Lord and God apart from the knowledge imparted by the Holy Spirit of God. And when you are led by the Spirit of God you become legal heirs to be called as the sons of God (Romans 8:14).

Unless we are born of the water and the Spirit we cannot enter the Kingdom of God as the bible says in John 3:5. It’s a threefold step for those who are chosen and foreknown by God – you accept Christ as your saviour then the act of baptism and then the anointing of the Holy Spirit who sanctifies you to be obedient to Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and to be sprinkled with [His] blood (1 Peter 1:2).

God is a wonderful God

He very well knows that we have all fallen short of His glory. He’s provided every means to not only have an active interaction but an integrated relationship.

God in the form of His son

led us to be legal heirs due to the greatest sacrifice, the price paid by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.

God in the form of His Spirit

leads us to have an active fellowship with Him. He resides in us and therefore our Lord God resides within us. He comforts us and is also our intercessor for each one of us which is wonderfully explained in Romans 8:26-27 by Apostle Paul.

So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.

And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.

Ruach Hakodesh is Holy

The content and context of this statement is unfathomable. Let’s only remember seriously the warning by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthews 12:32 “And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age or in the world and age to come”.

Bring alive the fruits of the Holy Spirit within us as the bible says in Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit ofthe [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].”

In the similar context seek the Lord to make you a perfect vessel to be blessed by the gift of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12: 7-11). This is our rightful gift for those who are called according to His purpose.

Holy Spirit personified as the dove, the oil, fire and wind

Mark 1:10 “And when He came up out of the water, at once he [John] saw the heavens torn open and the [Holy] Spirit like a dove coming down [[a]to enter] [b]into Him.”

The appearance of the Holy Spirit as the dove;an emblem of purity and holiness symbolizes the gentle Saviour.

“And Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them. . . .

And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him to sanctify him.” ? Leviticus 8:10,12.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek . . . “ ? Isaiah 61:1.

Sanctification through anointing of the oil was performed on the Levitical priests and kings as read in the Old Testament. Sanctification or being consecrated unto the Lord is only possible when the Spirit of God is with us.

In Matthew 25:1-13 we read the parable of the wise and foolish brides. Let us have our lamp filled with oil. Only those who are filled with the Holy Spirit are welcome to the wedding party hosted by our Lord Jesus Christ.

On the day of Pentecost when all the believers were assembled together there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them. And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit [a]kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words].Acts 2:2-4.

The rushing of the wind and the fire both symbolizes the Spirit of God. Breathing into a renewed spirit filled life and the anointing in the form of tongues of fire symbolize enlightenment and empowerment and utterance of this enlightenment.

We thank the Lord God and pray that every one of our ministerial partners isblessed with the fruits and gift of the Holy Spirit. We pray to God that our lamps are always filled and awaiting.

Be Blessed!
