Workshop17 designs, builds and manages flexible workspaces adapted to the new way of working. Since our opening in 2012, we have incorporated the needs of individuals, teams and enterprises into our locations by providing them with spaces to be productive, grow their networks and feel at home in the workspace.

Running a successful collaborative space is not only about removing literal barriers. At Workshop17 we have created spaces like ideas lounges, pause areas, informal meeting booths, lounges and open café's to encourage employees to work interactively together. Members who prefer some privacy or are crunching to meet a deadline are welcome to use our silent hot-desking areas and VC booths. Our my.W17 Platform lists all our members and their expertise from the different locations, encouraging members to reach out to each other. Members are also able to make a booking in our meeting rooms, boardrooms and seminar rooms from the platform.
We are currently managing 5 locations in Gauteng (Sandton and Rosebank) and the Western Cape (V&A Waterfront, Gardens and Paarl), and are on a trajectory to grow into a network of 15 stand-alone locations, and a larger number of boutique locations, where we partner with others. Our vision is to provide workspace solutions for the new normal and enhance productivity, where the workspace will be a combination of the home, the corporate office and third spaces.
