How It Works

1. Get a quote

  • Visit to get a quote for the trade-in value of your phone, tablet or Apple Watch.1 After initiating and accepting a trade via your MyRogers account, we’ll email you a label that you can print and use to send your device to us.

2. Prepare your device

  • Back up the data on your old device and remove all personal account info (eg: Find My iPhone) before you trade it in. You can keep any memory cards that remain.

3. Trade in your device

  • Mail us your device within 30 days of accepting your online quote, or visit a Rogers store.* You will need your Rogers account number and the phone number associated with your device to complete the trade.

4. Enjoy your trade-in credit!

  • If you trade in your device at a participating Rogers store,* you can use your credit towards the purchase of or accessories or you can have the credit applied to a future bill. If you trade it in online, the credit will be applied to a future bill.

Terms and conditions

Offer available for a limited time only, or while supplies last, and subject to change without notice. A Setup Service Fee of $45 per line applies to setup your device and related services. The Setup Service Fee is waived through self-serve on (but not through Live Chat and Customer Service). If you require device setup in-store thereafter, a $45 Setup Service Fee will apply. Taxes extra.

Bonus trade-in credit of $100 available to new and existing customers that trade in an eligible phone, tablet or Apple Watch with a minimum $100 value and purchase a smartwatch on financing with a smartwatch plan, with trade-in of an eligible device and purchase or upgrade to a new iPad and added as a tablet line to a Rogers Infinite plan, or with trade-in of an eligible old device and purchase or upgrade to a new phone on a Rogers Infinite plan. * Not available at all locations. Value of trade-in device, if any, determined using a third-party tool provided by Brightstar Telecom Solutions Ltd.; trade-in value is final and non-negotiable. Credit will be applied in-store to the value of the new device purchased. If new device price is lesser than credit amount, remaining credit must be used on concurrent purchase of accessories and/or another new device for the same account or credit will be lost. Limit of 1 trade-in device per transaction. Trade-in device must be owned by customer in order to be eligible for the Rogers Trade-Up program. Customer is responsible for deleting/backing up all personal data on the trade-in device, Rogers and/or Brightstar Telecom Solutions Ltd. is not responsible for any loss and recovery of personal data.
