Living Yoga Mini Playshop
The Art of Mandala Making
Sunday June 27th | 4pm-5:30ish Guided by Courtney Chunn

Mandala making currently serves as my primary meditation practice.  This art form has sparked my creativity and bolstered my confidence. I'm so excited to share it with you! At our mini playshop we will talk about setting intentions, awakening creative energy, and releasing inhibitions and fear. I'll show you some ways to get started on your own creations and we will meditate and create together.
All art supplies provided. No experience or "artistic talent" needed. We are all artists! We are all creatives! Life is a meditation. -Courtney

Mandala, "circle" in Sanskrit, is a spiritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, and represents the universe or the cosmos. The mandala's circular designs are comprised of repetitive geometric shapes or patterns inspired by nature and symbolizes the idea that life is never ending and everything is connected. The process of creating a mandala offers a meditative experience AND results in a beautiful piece of art to continue to gaze upon as an object of meditation.
